Swine Flue Vaccinations

This article talks about how the Swine Flue vaccination is available now in pomona and also that there has been about 60,000 that have been vaccinated. I found this article in http://cbs2.com/swineflu/Swine.Flu.H1N1.2.1276164.html.

As much as this may be wonderful news for a lot of people in my opinion it isn't trustworthy. The Swine Flue is a deadly virus and it hasn't been around for that long. I have had two cousins die from it and as devistating as that may be I still wouldn't trust this vaccination. This article says "About 8,000 people at four locations were vaccinated Tuesday, and health officials decided to extend operating hours to 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. Wednesday night" this was yesterday October 27th, 2009. It hasn't even been 48 hours and they are saying that we should get vaccinated. How do we know that this vaccination doesn't have bad side effects? A day and a half of people in Los Angeles being vaccinated and nothing happening to them isn't convincing to me. I am glad that they are working on a vaccination to prevent severe consequences for the swine flu, but maybe doing a little more research and a little more time would be more convincing to actually take the vaccination. Not have us as guinea pigs for their experiment!
